About Department

The Electrical Engineering department is considered as the heart of the institute. The strength of the department is the highly qualified faculties and experienced support staff which guides the students during the program. The Department offers academic programs at two levels leading to Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) and Master of Engineering (M.E.). The department is dedicated to teaching and research activities in the areas of electrical power generation, transmission and distribution. The department educates the students to take up challenging jobs in a wide range of industries and engage themselves in research and development activities for the good of society. The syllabus of the courses are continuously updated and the laboratories are modernized to reflect the rapid changes in technology.
